Harry Potter is my life, Helena Bonham Carter is my hero, Tim Burton is a genius and Johnny Depp is a God

I left my heart at the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiere

"And life is for the alive, my dear,
So let’s keep living it,
Just keep living it,
Really living it!"

It took me ages to grow into being a woman, into being happy with it. When I was young, I believed in being androgynous, you can’t flaunt it, you can’t use it. The whole thing was just something yuck, to be embarrassed about. And now it’s just like, ‘Hey, enjoy it!’ Now I feel fine about shapes and things. It’s nice to have curves. To be a woman.

30 Day HBC Challenge: Day 1 - First Helena movie you saw
Before you all hate on me for not having discovered her before she appeared in Order of the Phoenix, let me explain. I know it sounds dramatic, but before OotP came out my life literally had no direction, I was just an incredibly emo 13 year old girl with no interests and who went to a shit school and got picked on for being different.
Then when I became interested in Harry Potter again, I saw OotP and became immediately attached to Helena. I didn’t know who she was and I hadn’t seen anything she’d been in, but I thought she was the best actress in the film and I completely fell in love with her.
The moment I got home from the cinema I immediately googled her and watched a dozen films she’d been in. And thus the road to obsession began. From then on I was a lot happier and I cared less about what people thought of me because I had her as my role model.
